THE PHILADELPHIA'S WALL!

Nous étions donc 5 membres de l'association Bulle d'Ox (association d'arts visuels) à partir à Philadelphie, du 16 au 30 aout 2010. Nous étions invités par l'Ambassade des Etats Unis d'Amérique en France dans le cadre de l'échange franco-américain de peintures murales urbaines. 2 semaines manifiques à découvrir la ville, pratiquer l'anglais et aider les artistes du MAP (Mural Art Program)! Et maintenant, laissez moi vous en dire quelques mots en images!

We were 5 Bulle d'Ox association 's members (an artistic association) who went to Philadelphia (16-30 august 2010). We were invited by the United States Ambassy in France, and participate to the french-american of urban mural painting exchange. 2 awesome weeks to descover the city, speak english and help the MAP's artists. And now, let's talk about this project!

This is the drawing of the east keasinston's Mural when it will be finish!

If you'll go in Philly one day, take the subway until the YORK DAUPHIN'S station,

and you will see it! Voici le dessin du Mural d'East Keasinston quand il sera fini!

Si vous allez à Philadelphie un jour, prenez le métro jusqu'à la station York-Dauphin,

et vous le verrez!

As you can see, it's a big wall, taller than our lastest wall we made in Bondy with the Mural Art Program! We worked with Paul Santoleri (american artist), Psykoze (famous graffiti's french artist), Emile Ledieu (mosaic artist, franco-américaine) and everyone who wanted to participate. Comme vous pouvez le constater, il s'agit d'un grand mur, bien plus imposant que le dernier que nous avions fait à Bondy avec le MAP. Nous travaillions avec Paul Santoleri (artiste américain), Psykoze (artiste français reconnu pour ses graffittis), Emilie Ledieu (artiste mosaiste, franco-américaine) et chaque personne voulant participer.

On the right side, we had to climb on the scaffolding to paint, and sometime by the roof.

It was really hight and, at first i had try to pass my vertigo! Sur le côté droit, nous devions monter sur l'échafaudage pour peindre, et parfois même sur le toit! Le mur était vraiment haut, et j'ai d'abord dû essayer de vaincre mon vertige!

On the left side, the wall was just unaccessible, because of the lot of cars and metal scraps!

So the artists had to use a lift!Sur le côté gauche, le mur était juste inaccessible à cause des nombreux véhicules et déchets métalliques! Les artistes ont donc dû utiliser un lift!

Here is the Angel's motif designed by Agnès B. wicth we made in mosaic to be put on an other face of the building.Ici, il s'agit du motif d'ange designé par Agnès B. que nous avons fait en mosaique pour le placer sur une autre face du bâtiment.

And this is a part of our mosaic work with the mirror.
Et voici une partie de notre travail de mosaique en miroir.

There are some travels we can't forget, and this one is like this.
Il y a de ces voyage qu'on n'oublie pas, et celui-ci en fait parti.
